Abstract

The study was aimed to know and to analyze the effect of Working Capital Turnover, Liquidity, Leverage, Size and Sales Growth to Profitability. The independent variables in this research include Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), size and sales growth, while the independent variable in this research include Return on Assets (ROA). The type of research used was explanatory research with quantitative approach. The population in this research was sector of consumer goods industry companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, (28 sample companies). Data analysis used were descriptive statistic, test of classical assumption, and multiple linier regression analysis. The result shows that simultaneously the variables of Working capital Turnover (WCT), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), size and sales growth have significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Partiallt the variables of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), size and sales growth have significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA), while Working Capital Turnover (WCT) has no significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA).
