Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence about the effect of the capital adequacy ratio, loan to deposit ratio, size and operational expense operational income on non performing loan. The population of this research is bank companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2015. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. There are 29 companies qualified as sample. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The result showed that capital adequacy ratio, loan to deposit ratio, size and operational expense operational income influence simultaneously on non performing loan. The partial showed that capital aequacy ratio and operational expense operational income effects on non performing loan, while loan to deposit ratio and size have no effect on non performing loan. The conclucsion of this study indicate that capital aequacy ratio have significantly negative effects on non performing loan, operational expense operational income have significantly positive effects on non performing loan, while loan to deposit ratio and size have no significantly effects on non performing loan.
