Abstract

Stock returns gain or loss is the result obtained by investors or shareholders of the investment in a company. By knowing the measurement of stock returns for investors is useful for making investment decisions, selecting stocks of companies with good performance and get the return of the results of carefully selected investments. This study aimed to determine the effect of earnings per share, economic value added, profitability ratios, and liquidity on stock returns. The population in this study is the foreign exchange BUSN company to go public with the period 2012-2015 are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). Sampling using census method and company acquired 23 banks as samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that variable earning per share and economic value added has no significant positive effect on stock returns, while the variable of the profitability ratio (ROA) and liquidity ratio (CR) have a significant negative effect on stock returns.
