Abstract
Dividend policy is important for investor, because investors tend to ease earnings to be distributed as dividends, while companies want to be held for future investment financing, it is necessary to determine the factors that influence the dividend policy. This research aims to determine the effect of current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on equity, and firm size to Dividend policy (DPR). The population in this study is consumer goods companies from 2012-2015 listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was selected by the purposive sampling technique and 20 companies were included in the research sample. This research were analyzed by using multi linier regression. the results of the study show that current ratio have effect on dividend policy (DPR), debt to equity ratio have effect on the dividend policy (DPR), return on equity have effect on the dividend policy (DPR), and firm size did not have effect on the dividend policy (DPR).
