Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, size of company, growth, debt to equity and probability of dividend policy on manufacturing company in Indonesia stock exchange with the time period 2007-2011. The number of samples collected from the Indonesia stock exchange as much as 146 companies. Researchers using the technique of purposive sampling and get 19 companies as research samples. This research uses a multiple regression analysis. The results of this research are simultanly using the F test, shows that all of the six independent variables significant to effect of dividend policy. While the t test results indicate that the managerial Ownership (INSDR) and institutional ownership (INST) significant positive effect of dividend policy, than the variable company size (SIZE) and the growth (GROWTH) have positive but not significant to dividend policy. The variables of debt to equity and probability have negative but not significant to dividend policy Keywords : dividend policy managerial ownership, institusional ownership, company size, growth, debt to equity, and probability.
