Abstract

Bank is a financial institution that has an important role in a country, banking in Indonesia experienced a fierce competition, especially in the field of industry. The tight competition has changed the strategy of each bank's promotion to optimize its banking services. One form of promotional strategy by promoting sales, advertising and public relations that get the target market desired by the company. There are several factors that can influence customers to use a savings product, including marketing mix, service and awareness. This study aims to find out how marketing mix factors, service and awareness can affect customers open savings accounts BRI Simpedes. The sample used in this study is a questionnaire with the number of respondents as many as 100 BRI Simpedes savings accounts in Surabaya. The results of the questionnaire will be analyzed using SPSS version 20.0. The results of this study indicate that the marketing mix, service and awareness affect the customer's decision to open a savings account of BRI Simpedes in Surabaya.
