Abstract

Along with the growing financial sector and the growing number of people in Indonesia from year to year, causing an increase in needs and economic activities in the environtment. In general, credit is done by entering into an agreement, namely debt agreement or credit agreement constituting principal agreement and followed by additional agreement in the form of guarantee agreement by debtors. This study aims to determine the criteria of non-performing loans at BRI Bank Branch Kediri, to know the procedure of handling non-performing loans at BRI Bank Branch Kediri, and to know the solutions made in handling non-performing loans at BRI Bank Kediri Branch. The research method used in this research is descriptive method while the method of data collection is documentation and interview. Based on the results of research at the BRI Bank Branch Kediri credit provision can be said to be problematic if the debtor deviates from the obligations of the initial agreement. Handling in case of problem loans there are several ways, namely recapitulation, oral approach, written approach and saving.
