Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the influence of financial literacy, religiosity to the behavior of debt management with self control as a mediating variable in Surabaya. The sample in this study was Surabaya people who had debt or dependents taken as many as 331 respondents. Data and data collection methods in this study are primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis and statistical analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) test tool, which is supported by the WarpPLS 6.0 application. The results of this study show that Financial Literacy has a significant positive effect on Debt Management Behavior and Religiosity has a significant negative effect on Debt Management Behavior. The Self Control mediates Financial Literacy partially in Debt Management Behavior. Keywords: Debt Management Behavior, Financial Literacy, Religiosity and Self control
