Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Financial Knowledge, the Role of Parents on Saving Behavior with Locus of Control as a Mediation Variable. The sample consisted of 401 respondents in the East Java region, where they were chosen by Purposive Sampling. Characteristics respondents is generation Z were living in the East Java region, unmarried and not yet working. Analysis using SEM on PLS (Partial Least Square). The results showed that the Financial Knowledge and Role of Parents had a significant positive effect on saving behavior. Locus of Control mediates partially the influence of Financial Knowledge on Savings Behavior. Key word: Savings Behavior, Financial Knowledge, Role of Parents, Locus of Control
