Abstract
Along with the large number of motor vehicles, motor vehicle tax arrears from year to year also increased. Increasing the number of tax payers in arrears paying motor vehicle tax becomes one of the most frequent problems. To minimize motor vehicle tax arrears then the implementation of motor vehicle tax collection. The purpose of this research is to explain about the implementation of motor vehicle tax collection and know the achievement of tax revenue in the Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas Pendapatan Surabaya Timur. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research is indicates that the implementation of motor vehicle tax collection has been in accordance with the Regional Regulations and the amount tax revenue has reached the target.
