Abstract

Competition and development in banking now is faster. Where the bank continues to be innovative to meet the needs of customers and can support programs made by the government, such as Savings products Simapanan Pelajar issued by OJK with the aim to provide education of saving from an early age to the students. Therefore, the authors are interested to know the application of marketing done by Bank Tabungan Negara Branch Sidoarjo. The method used is primary and secondary method Based on research conducted shows the characteristics of savings Simapan Pelajar is expenditure by government. Target of this product is student with education level starting from PAUD, TK, SD, SMP, dan SMA. The marketing process which is conducted by the Bank Tabungan Negara of Branch Sidorjo is to determine market segmentation, target market, and product price. Bank Tabungan Negara Cabang Sidoarjo has worked with the school and maintains good relations with the school. with brochures and souvenirs at the time of socialization will make it easy and increase the interest of customers or students. Keywords: Student, Government, Marketing Process PENDAHULUAN Persaingan perbankan dan situasi bisnis di pasar saat ini berubah dengan cepat. Kondisi seperti ini berhadapan pula dengan sistem pasar global dengan tingkat persaingan yang semkin ketat di pasar domestik maupun tingkat internasional. Masing – masing lembaga perbankan berlomba untuk menaik minat nasabah yang pada akhirnya nasabah mendapat keuntungan serta kepuasan atas pelayanan bank yang mampu membuat para nasabah bertahan dan menjadi loyal kepada bank. Oleh karena itu usaha perbankan harus selalu meningkatkan profesionlismenya dan terus selalu menginovasi semua sistem perbankan yang telah dimiliki guna mampu untuk bersaing dengan kopetitor serta mempertahankan keloyalitasan nasabah. Peranan perbankan dalam era pembangunan yang terus menerus berlangsung ternyata amatlah penting untuk terus ditingkatkan, apalagi dalam era globalisi sekarang ini.
