Abstract
The purpose of this research is to see how the difference in the level of student literacy based on demographic factors studied. The analitical method used is a descriptive statistical analysis. The data used are the primary data obtained from a survey of 120 respondents.This research used questionnaires. Population in this research is student in surabaya. Sampling technique using convenience sampling and purposive sampling with 120 respondents in this research. The variables used in this study include gender, residence, GPA, and level of study. Data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, and independent sample t-test. Based on the hypothesis studied then get the result that gender, residence, and GPA there is significant difference to student literasi kuangan. while the force there is no difference to student financial literacy. Suggestions for further research have been examined in all students in Surabaya, using online methods, increasing the number of questions and adding variables such as student income, savings and debt ownership and student work experience. Key words : Financial literacy, College Students, Demographic Factors.
