Abstract

The value of a company can be described as the value of a company's assets such as securities. A high increase in corporate value is a long-term priority of a company that must be achieved by a company that can be reflected from stock prices. This study aims to examine the impact of corporate social responsibility, growth opportunity, and investment decisions on corporate value with profitability as a moderating variable. The sample used in this research is mining companies in BEI in 2014-2016. The sampling technique uses saturated sample technique using SPSS 22 software. The result of the research indicates that (1) corporate social responsibility does not have an effect on firm value, (2) growth opportunity has no effect on firm value, (3) investment decision influence to firm value, (4) profitability is unable to strengthen the relationship between corporate opportunity and corporate value, (5) profitability is unable to strengthen the relationship between growth opportunity and firm value, (6) profitability can strengthen the relationship between investment decision and firm value.
