Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of parents' background economic, GPA, learning process in collage to students' financial literacy. The reserched method was survey on 158 students on faculty of economics and business in surabaya region. The sampling technique was purposive samping and convenience sampling. The statistical method in this reseach was partial least square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) used to analyis the variance. The sampling technique was purposive samping and convenience sampling. The results of this study indicate that the economic status of parents and GPA has no significant effect on financial literacy, there is no difference in financial literacy between the understanding of relevant financial lecture materials, methods of teaching and learning process and media or resources compatible with competence. Keywords: student financial literacy, economic status of parents, GPA and learning in college.
