Abstract
The rate of sukuk can become the consideration for the investor to purchase the sukuk of company since the rate of sukuk is an informative statement which can be used as the standards of the risk of investment failure. The rate of sukuk can be influenced bya various factors and one of the factors is the financial factor of the company which is analyzed by using financial ratio. The objective of this study was to provide empirical findings whether company’s financial performance can predict changes of sukuk rating. The changes of sukuk rating is a dependent variable, while financial ratio (liquidity, profitability, activity and solvability ratio) is independent variable. The empirical findings are based on a sample of 11 Indonesian publicly traded firms rate by Indonesia Stock Exchange where 35 sukuk rated by PT Pefindo over the 2008 and 2017 period. Data were analyzed using SPSS software 23 version and analysis tools to test the hypothesis is multinomial logistic regression. The result of this study described financial ratios can’t predict changes of sukuk rating. Key words : Sukuk, Liquidity, Profitability, Activity and Solvability Ratios
