Abstract
The purpose of the research is to evaluate the internal controls system of the payroll system in the Mitra Perkasa Coorperative Probolinggo. This research uses qualitative methods. To take that purpose, have collected a primary data, is a directly data with give the question list to the respondent in Mitra Perkasa Coorperative and get the secondary data by intermediary media, such as testimony or document of payroll system. One way that can be used to reduce errors and fraud actions salary fund is to evaluate the internal controls system of the payroll system with using COSO (Committee Of Sponsoring Organization) indicators are consisting of the Control Environment, Control Activities, Risk Assessment, Information and Communication, and Performance monitoring. The result of the research represent that Mitra Perkasa Coorperative have a good internal controls system of the payroll. Key words : COSO (Committee Of Sponsoring Organization), Internal Controls
