Abstract
The purpose of research is want to understand the influence of the application of corporate governance against ROE, Tobin s Q, and dividend policy. The sample selection is done with less use purposive sampling technique. The populations in this research are all companies listed in the publication CGPI 2005-2009. The sample selection is done with less use of purposive sampling is using a particular sampling considerations and which satisfies the criteria of there is 53 company. Because in this research using one the independent variable hence an analysis of the data used is linear regression simple where corporate governance as the independent variable. The results of the analysis can be inferred that the corporate governance as the independent variable not significant to the ROE, Tobin's Q, and dividend policy as the dependent variables. This is because the market's response to the implementation of corporate governance could not directly or short term, low public awareness of applying corporate governance, management company has not interested benefits of long term the application of corporate governance and they feel they can run the company without necessarily apply corporate governance, and ownership issue a still concentrated to individuals.
