Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors-factors that affect auditor’s job satisfaction. This study use structure leadership style, consideran leadership style, task complexity, time budget pressure, and locus of control as independent variable. The unit of analysis of this study is the auditor who worked on the accounting public firm in Surabaya. The sampling technique applied is use convenience sampling. Data used in this study is primary data, data collected by sending questionaries direct to various accounting public firm written in Institut Akuntan Publik Indonesia (IAPI). The number of samples in this study is 75 auditors from 15 accounting public firm in Surabaya. The analysis in this study use validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression test, and hypothesis test. The results of this study state that structure leadership style don’t have an influence on job satisfaction, consideran leadership style have an influence on job satisfaction, task complexity don’t have an influence on job satisfaction, time budget pressure don’t have an influence on job satisfaction, and locus of control don’t have an influence on job satisfaction.
