Abstract

This study examined the effect of Liquidity Ratio, Asset Quality, Sensitivity, Eficiency and Profitability on the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of the National Private Public Banks. As already known CAR is an indicator of the capital strenght of the banks so that the knowledge of the factors affecting the CAR will help improve the health of banks. By using regression analysis we find IPR, FBIR and ROA are significan to the Capital Adequacy Ratio. further investigate show that ROA and IPR are positive to the CAR meaning any income on both variabels improve the CAR. Meanwhile the FBIR is negative meaning any increases will reduce the CAR. Key word : Liquidity, asset quality, sensitivity, efficiency and profitability
