Abstract
Capital market is very important macroeconomic’s indicator for a country. In this study used purposive sampling method as determining the sample and multiple linear regression analysis as statistic anal ysis to examine the effect of independet variables on the dependent variable, while hypothesis test used t-test and F-test with significance level of 5%. In this study also used the classical assumptions test include normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity. The result is in a whole Inflation, BSD interest rate, GDP Groeth rate, and exchange rate have significant effect to Straits Times Index. Inflation and Exchange rate partially have negative signifi cant effect to Straits Times Index. BSD Interest Rate have negative not significa nt effect to Straits Times Index. PDB Growth Rate have positive not significant effect to Straits Times Index. Key words : Inflation, BSD Interest Rate, GDP Growth Rate, Exchange Rate of Singapore, Straits Times Index
