Abstract

The Company has the goal of which is to increase profits for the company owners or shareholders that can be achieved from a good performance to fulfill the obligations of the owner of the organization or its shareholders and to achieve the main objectives of the company, the company made one way that financial performance. This study aims to examine and determine the effect of Executive Compensation and Firm Size on Company Financial Performance in the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2013-2015. The sample used in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period from 2013 to 2015 as many as 155 companies. Data collection methods used in this study using purposive sampling in accordance with the criteria that have been determined, so the data on research into 109 companies. Methods of data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis to find out the results of hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that the variable executive compensation affect the company's financial performance. Meanwhile, the variable size of the company does not affect the company's financial performance. Keywords: Executive Compensation, Firm Size, and Company Financial Performance
