Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of economic value added, current ratio, and dividend payout ratio on the trading volume activity with the stock price as a moderating variable that is attached to the dividend payout ratio. This is a quantitative research with the sample consisting of 172 companies out of 322 companies listed on KOMPAS100 Index during the period 2013-2015. The sample was determined by using purposive sampling method. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis and moderated regression analysis. Based on the results obtained from the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded only dividend payout ratio that has significant effect on trading volume activity and other variables, economic value added and current ratio have no effect. However, these three independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on trading volume activity. On the other hand, the hypothesis testing using the MRA interaction test can be concluded that the stock price as a moderating variable is not significantly strengthen the relation between dividend payout ratio on trading volume activity, and variable stock prices acted as a pure moderator.
