Abstract
This study aims to determine effect finansial rewards, professional training, professional recognition, labor marker considerations, social value, and personality there was influence the selection of a career as a Public Accountant. The sample was done by convenience sampling, the resulting sample of 233 respondents from Petra Christian University, Widya Mandala Catholic University, STIE Perbanas Surabaya, Surabaya University (UBAYA), STIE Indonesia (STIESIA). The data collected is classified as primer data which is obtained by questioner distribution. Data processing is conducted by using Multiple Regression Analysis. The result of this research indicated finansial respect, social value, and labor market consideration can attract students interest to choose publik accountants profession, and other factors such as professional training, professional recognition and personality are not some factors which can influence the accounting students interesy in private university in Surabaya to choose public accountant profession Keyword : public accountant, profession, financial reward, professional training, social value, professional recognition
