Abstract
This research aims to find out and analyzed the factors that influence students interenst in accounting STIE Perbanas Surabaya in a career as a public accountant. Factors that influence the selection of a career as a public accountant can be measured by the intrinsic value of a job, financial award, professional training, professional recognition, work environment and personality. Analytical techniques used in this study was Muliple Liniear Reggression. The varian the variables used in this study is the intrinsic value of a job, financial award, professional training, professional recognition, work environment and personality. The results from this research that the intrinsic value of a job, finanasial awards, work environment and influential personality significantly to students interest in accounting for a career as a public accountant. While the professional training and professional award do not affect significantky to student interest in a accounting for a coreer as a public a accountant. Keywords: intrinsic value of a job, financial award, professional training, professional recognition, work environment and personality.
