Abstract

The objective of this research is to study deeply about a model of leadersip who bring a bussiness organization success based on tranformational leadership perspective and the effect of his leadership for building culture. Research conducted by case study in Jawa Pos Group. Focus on this research is Dahlan Iskan(DI) leadership as Chief Executive Officer Jawa Pos Group. Research design is qualitative research and involves 8 informant from business unit manager from many areas in Indonesia. By triangulation methods research (data from interview, questionaire and secondary data) found that DI use beyond the tranfsormational leadership (Great transformational leadership) because from four atributes of tranformational leadership ≥ 92,6 % from many data sources view that DI has Individualized Consideration, Intelectual Stimulation, and Inspirational Motivation, and 100 % views that DI has idealized influenced. His great transformational leadership has positive effect on creativity and positive attitude (employee satisfaction). Keywords : transformational leadership, creativity, employee satisfaction,
