Abstract
This study aims to design and develop a web-based digital archiving system at Bappeda Kabupaten Jombang to improve the efficiency of archive management. The existing archiving system is still manual and unstructured, resulting in slow document retrieval and potential data redundancy. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, with system design modeled using Unified Modeling Language (UML). Implementation was carried out using the Laravel framework and MySQL database. System testing employed Black Box Testing to evaluate functionality and System Usability Scale (SUS) to assess user experience, involving 43 respondents. The results indicate that the developed system significantly improves archive retrieval efficiency and supports structured and integrated data management. The usability evaluation shows that the system is categorized as good, indicating that it is feasible for use by civil servants at Bappeda Kabupaten Jombang.
