Abstract
The increasing accessibility of digital financial platforms has encouraged Generation Z, particularly university students, to participate in investment activities at an early age. However, differences in financial understanding, behavior, and motivation lead to variations in investment decision-making among individuals. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial behavior, and investment motivation on investment decisions among Generation Z students in Surabaya. The population of this study consists of Generation Z students in Surabaya who have experience in investing. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, with a total of 132 respondents who met the research criteria. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).The results show that financial literacy has a positive but not significant effect on investment decisions. In contrast, financial behavior has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions and becomes the most dominant variable influencing investment decisions. Investment motivation also has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. These findings indicate that behavioral and motivational factors play a more crucial role than financial knowledge in shaping investment decisions among Generation Z students in Surabaya. Keyword: Financial Literacy, Financial Behavior, Investment Motivation, Investment Decision, Generation Z.
