Abstract
This study examines the influence of transformational leadership style and work environment on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable at PT. BPR Bank Jombang Perseroda. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used with 120 employees at PT. BPR Bank Jombang Perseroda. Data were collected through a validated questionnaire and analyzed using WarpPLS 7.0. The results indicate that transformational leadership style and work environment directly influence employee work motivation and performance. Work motivation exhibits a significant positive effect on employee performance and fully mediates the relationship between transformational leadership style and performance, as well as between work environment and performance. These findings highlight work motivation as an important mediator in banking workforce management, providing valuable insights for improving performance in the financial management environment.
