Abstract

This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) to assist PT. Eforia Furniture Indonesia (PT EFI) in determining the best employees in an objective, systematic, and measurable manner using the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) method. The system is designed to address performance evaluations that were previously conducted manually and subjectively, often resulting in biased assessments and inaccurate decision-making. Employee performance data were collected based on six criteria: productivity, work quality, discipline, innovation, teamwork, and absenteeism. MAUT is applied to convert each criterion into a Utility value on a 0–1 scale, enabling standardized, objective, and transparent performance comparisons among employees. The research process includes MAUT calculations, needs analysis, system design, system development, and system testing through manual calculations and Black Box Testing. The results show that Imam Nur Cholis achieved the highest Utility value of 0.958 and was designated as the best employee, eligible to receive a financial reward. The implementation of the MAUT-based DSS has proven to enhance the objectivity, transparency, and efficiency of the performance evaluation process, while also boosting work motivation, improving productivity, strengthening a performance-based work culture, and supporting sustainable human resource development strategies within PT EFI. Keywords : Decision Support System, Employee Performance, Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT)
