Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of tax knowledge, professional recognition, and financial rewards on the interest in choosing a career as a tax consultant. In this study, all variables were measured using a Likert scale. The sample used in this study consists of students from University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya who have taken taxation courses, with a total sample of 51 students. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The research results show that professional recognition significantly influences the interest in choosing a career as a tax consultant. Meanwhile, tax knowledge and financial rewards do not significantly influence the interest in choosing a career as a tax consultant.
