Abstract

The livestock sector plays an important role in supporting the local economy, especially in rural areas such as Sangkapura District. However, various challenges such as inefficient manual data management, limited market reach, and the absence of a digital platform hinder the optimization of its sales. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information system called Jagalku using the Waterfall method. Jagalku is designed to facilitate the management of animal slaughtering data effectively and accurately, as well as provide a user-friendly platform for consumers to rotate animal slaughtering and make transactions transparently. This system can also increase sales results through online transactions and expand market reach through digital promotions. The Waterfall method ensures a systematic development process, from needs analysis to implementation and testing. System testing was conducted on 189 respondents, which showed that Jagalku was able to increase efficiency in data management and provide a better user experience. The results of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive solution to optimize animal slaughtering operations, improve the quality of service to consumers, and support the digital transformation of the livestock sector in Sangkapura District.
