Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises make a large contribution to the local economy. Therefore, it is very important to conduct research on the performance of small and medium enterprises. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of financial literacy, management skills and access to capital on the success of MSME businesses in East Java. Collection data was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 small and medium enterprises in East Java province. The sampling technique used was target sampling. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)- WarpPLS 80 method. shows that financial literacy, management skills, and access to capital have a positive and significant effect on the performance of MSMEs in East Java. The conclusion of this research shows that increasing financial literacy, management skills training, and increasing access to capital are important things to encourage the growth and desire of MSMEs By involving financial literacy, management skills, and access to capital to improve business performance, MSMEs will become more competitive and make a greater contribution to the economy, so that the government is more likely to be able to support MSME growth more effectively.
