Abstract
This study aims to examine whether income factors, labor market factors, and work environment factors influence the interest of accounting students in working at public accounting firms. The research uses a quantitative approach, with the population consisting of accounting students from the Indonesian College of Economics and accounting students from Hayam Wuruk Perbanas University, class of 2020 and 2021. The sampling technique applied in this study is purposive sampling, resulting in 58 research samples. The data used in this study is primary data, with data analysis techniques including validity tests, reliability tests, measurement model tests (outer model), and structural model tests (inner model), utilizing WarpPLS7.0 software and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study indicate that income and work environment variables have an influence on the interest of accounting students in working at public accounting firms, while the labor market variable does not have an influence.
