Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tax knowledge, motivation, student perceptions and market considerations on interest in a career in the field of taxation. The data used are primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires in the form of gform (online) given to respondents. This type of research is quantitative, while the population for this research is students of the Accounting Study Program at the University of Hayam Wuruk Perbanas Surabaya. The data collection method uses purposive sampling. The sample of this research is 49 respondents. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression which was processed using SPSS software version 25. Based on the partial test results it showed that the program variables motivation and student perceptions had an effect on career interest in taxation. Meanwhile, the variables of tax knowledge and market considerations have no effect on career interest in taxation Keywords : Tax Knowledge, Motivation, Student Perceptions, Market Considerations, Career Interest in Taxation
