Abstract
In shopping, we should buy things that we have noted down that we think will be needed, but sometimes we also buy things unplanned. This research aims to see the unplanned purchase behavior of gen Z women who use the Maqashid Sharia perspective payment gateway. This research uses a qualitative method. Data collection was carried out by interviewing, observing, and documenting ten informants who used ShopeePay and OVO as online shopping payment transactions. The data obtained will be analyzed using case studies and tested for truth using triangulation of sources and theories. Based on this research's results, the factors that encourage unplanned purchases are cashback funds, discounts, free shipping, new item trends, unique, spontaneous, and hype items. Most informants feel regret at a later date. Each individual has a different perception of making unplanned purchases. From Maqashid Sharia's perspective, many informants did not plan to meet the needs of Daruriyyat and Hajiyat. Daruriyyat needs unplanned purchases made by informants in the form of items such as clothes, headscarves, and prayer needs. In contrast, Hajiyat needs unplanned purchases made by informants in the form of items such as accessories, bags, and household furniture.
