Abstract
The focus of the problem examined in this study is the management of collection and management of zakat funds at the amil zakat institution, the Al-Falah Social Fund Foundation (YDSF) Surabaya. The purpose of this research is to describe the management of the collection and management of zakat funds, the supporting and inhibiting factors and the strategies used in empowering mustahik at the Al-Falah Social Fund Foundation (YDSF) Surabaya ami Zakat institution. Qualitative data obtained from interviews, documentation and observation. Fundraising methods used are direct and indirect fundraising. The object of this research is the Surabaya Al-Falah Social Fund Foundation with the Director of the Social and Humane Department and the Head of the Collection Division. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study analysis technique in the form of data collected and will be elaborated with a systematic description to find out the management of zakat funds in empowering mustahik at the A-Falah Social Fund Foundation, Surabaya. The results of this study indicate that the fundraising carried out by the Al-Falah Social Fund Foundation is by identifying potential donors, safeguarding donor services. Donor care management is carried out by visiting donors and providing up to date information about the institution's programs or activities. The supporting factors for this fundraising are a good utilization program, the ability to distribute the program and the presence of a solid team.
