Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance and company size on profitability in manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018 2021. This type of research is quantitative research, for the sampling technique using purposive sampling, namely selecting samples by determining criteria determined by the researcher, so that a research sample of 364 obtained from 91 manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2018-2021 period. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the board of directors variable has no effect on profitability, the board of commissioners has a positive effect on profitability, the audit committee has no effect on profitability, company size has a positive effect on profitability, and covid19 as a dummy variable has no positive effect on profitability.
