Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Lifestyle and Financial Behavior on consumptive behavior in the millennial generation. The sample consists of 100 respondents with characteristics as a millennial generation with births between 1980 – 2000, domiciled in the cities of Sidoarjo, Gresik and Mojokerto, have worked with a minimum income of IDR 4,300,000 and are Indonesian citizens. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling method and purposive sampling. Analysis using Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) on Partial Least Square (PLS) and collecting data using surveys. The results of this study indicate that there is no simultaneous influence of lifestyle and financial behavior on consumptive behavior in the millennial generation. This is supported by the partial test results which show that there is a significant positive effect only from lifestyle variables on consumptive behavior variables. Meanwhile, the financial behavior variable on consumptive behavior variables has a negative and insignificant effect.
