Abstract
Research on the systems and procedures registration of life insurance new customers which has been done on the Joint Life Insurance in Tulungagung branch office of Bumiputera 1912 aimed to find out how the procedures and systems registration used in Joint Life Insurace in Tulungagung branch office of Bumiputera 1912. The data were obtained through flowchart and interview data which have been given by Tulungagung branch office of Bumiputera 1912. This study was a descriptive study. The registration still used manual system in the form of registration filling. In this study, there was one form which contains the data of prospective new customers. This form was called life insurance request letter. The registration procedure was quite complicated and took long order. There were also found a lot of obstacles in the registration. To deal with the problems there was a solution by conducting socialization toward the prospective new customers who want to register. Key words: systems, procedures, flowcharts, obstacles, solution
