Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of the Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), 0perational efficiency (BOPO) to changes in earnings with Capital Adequency Ratio (CAR) as an intervening variable. at banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Whereas this research sample was determined by the purposive sampling method so be obtained 37 samples of 18 banking companies in the observation period (2009-2013). Analytical techniques employed in this study were multiple regression analysis, before multiple regression analysis, derkriptif analysis and normality data test. The data analysis applied NPL variable has effect to change in earning with significant value at 0.034, NPL variable has effect to change in earning with CAR as an intervening variable with significant value at -0.267, LDR variable has no significant effect to change in earning at 0.951, LDR variable has no significant effect to change in earning with not as an intervening variable CAR at 0.079, BOPO variable has no significant effect to change in earning at 0.057, BOPO variable has no significant effect to change in earning with not as an intervening variable CAR at 0.244. Keyword: NPL, LDR, BOPO, CAR and profit change.
