Abstract

Factors that can affect the profitability of a bank include liquidity ratios, earning asset quality ratios, sensitivity ratios, and efficiency ratios. This study aims to measure the ratio of financial performance to the profitability of National Private Commercial Banks using the LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO, and FBIR variables on Return On Assets (ROA). The samples in this study were PT Bank Maybank Indonesia, Tbk, PT Bank BTPN, Tbk, and PT Bank Danamon Indonesia, Tbk. This study uses secondary data from financial statements in the first quarter of 2017 to the fourth quarter of 2021 and uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO and FBIR have a significant effect on ROA. Partially LDR, IPR, and NPL have no significant negative effect on ROA. APB, PDN, and FBIR partially have no significant positive effect on ROA. IRR and BOPO partially have a significant negative effect on ROA. Keywords:, Liquidity, quality of earning assets, sensitivity, efficiency, ROA of National Private Commercial Banks
