Abstract

The digital service that has been implemented by the BRI Surabaya Kapas Krampung Branch Office since 2020 is digital saving. Digital saving service is an online account opening service through the BRI account opening website. The purpose of the study is to find out how the procedure for opening a digital saving account can be done independently by customers. The research design used is descriptive research with a descriptive analysis method. Descriptive analysis is based on the results of interviews with informants. In addition to interviews, the research method used are observation and documentation. The results obtained indicate that digital saving services provide benefits for customers and for banks, explain the process of opening an account with digital saving and solving problems, as well as solutions for digital saving services. One of the benefits of digital saving services for banks is that it can increase account opening activities at the BRI Surabaya Kapas Krampung Branch Office and the benefits of digital saving services for customers to facilitate account opening activities that no longer need to come to the office but only with internet and cellphone networks. The digital saving constraints experienced by customers are also gradually improving, because the BRI Surabaya Kapas Krampung Branch Office continues to develop and minimize the obstacles that occur.
