Abstract

The development of technology is currently happening very quickly throughout the world, especially in banking companies. By supporting the digitalization of banking as the main institution in the digital financial economy as well as the use of digital technology, through mobile banking, JConnect Bank Jatim hopes to make it easier for customers to transaction. Mobile banking is banking transactions through mobile media in the form of applications that are connected or available internet network. The results of this study aim to determine the strategy for using JConnect mobile banking digitization at Bank Jatim Babat Lamongan Sub-Branch Office. In this study using descriptive qualitative research methods conducted through interviews, observation and documentation. This study obtained the results, namely the strategy of Bank Jatim Babat for the use of mobile banking JConnect Bank Jatim using a marketing strategy (Direct offers to customers, socialization to educational institutions and companies and promotion through social media). Bank Jatim Babat in dealing with customers who lack knowledge about JConnect Bank Jatim mobile banking, namely by way of a service assistant when a new customer has to provide information, educate and guide new customers if they want to register for the JConnect Bank Jatim mobile banking application. Bank Jatim Babat has never received problems, which are indeed problems with the JConnect Bank Jatim mobile banking application, but have received problems in usage problems from customers themselves or human errors. From the strategy carried out by Bank Jatim Babat in the marketing of JConnect mobile banking, the key to marketing is in the service assistant, how to do the service assistant so that customers can be interested in Bank Jatim's JConnect mobile banking service.
