Abstract
Financial distress is a condition of company’s financial decline which in the long term can make the company become bankrupt, in this research financial distress measured by Earning Per Share (EPS). This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, sales growth, operating cash flow, intangible asset, board of directors, and independent board of commissioners on financial distress. The population in this study are Consumer goods sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The research sample used purposive sampling with a total of sample are 267 data samples. This research method uses logistic regression analysis. In this study using SPSS version 24 software. The results in this study showed that intangible asset has no effect on financial distress. Leverage and independent board of commissioners had a significant positive effect on financial distress. Meanwhile, sales growth, operating cash flow, and board of directors had a significant negative effect on financial distress.
