Abstract
This study tries to examine the effect of financial literacy, hedonistic lifestyle, and internal locus of control on family financial planning in Sidoarjo. Samples were taken using purposive sampling. The research sample used was 120 respondents. Data was collected using a survey method. The data were analyzed using partial least squares (PLS) with the structural equation model (SEM) method. The results showed that financial literacy and hedonistic lifestyle had a significant positive effect on family financial planning in Sidoarjo, while internal locus of control had an insignificant positive effect on family financial planning in Sidoarjo.
