Abstract
The purpose of this study was to to analyze the effect of internal factors and external factors on stock prices of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. In this study, internal factors use profitability ratios with measuring tools Earning Per Share (EPS) and Return On Assets (ROA). While external factors use inflation and interest rates. This study uses secondary data using the company's financial statements listed on the IDX. This research data uses companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the construction and building sub-sector manufacturing companies in the 2016 - 2020 period. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and the number of samples is 56 samples from 2016 - 2020. The method used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis with a quantitative approach. To analyze the data obtained using the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis testing (t test and f test) and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that EPS had an effect on stock prices while ROA, inflation and interest rates had no effect on stock prices.
