Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity and leverage on dividend policy in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2016-2020 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling using a sample of 244 manufacturing companies. The data analysis method used is multiple linear analysis (MRA) using the SPSS 21 for windows program. The results of this study state that simultaneously profitability, liquidity and leverage affect dividend policy in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the period 2016 to 2020. Partially, profitability has a significant positive effect on dividend policy, partially liquidity has no significant effect on dividend policy, and partially leverage has no significant effect on dividend policy.
