Abstract
The title of this research is “The Influenceof Financial Performance, Market Performance, and Economic Condition On Stock Returns of the Food & Beverages”. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of Debt to equity ratio, return on assets, price earning ratio, and inflasi on stock returns of the Food & Beverages firms registered between 2010-2014 on Indonesia stock exchange (BEI). The data is sampled using purposive sample judgment method. From 15 firms registered on BEI only 6 are use as sample for this study. The firms included are Akasha Wira International, Wilmar Cahaya Indonesia, Delta Djakarta, Indofood Sukses Makmur, Multi Bintang Indonesia, Sekar Laut. The result of this study using multiple regression finds that only two variabels (return on asset and inflation) that significantly affect the following year stock return with level of significance 5 percent. While debt to equity ratio and price earnings ratio had no influence to the stock returns where sig (DER) = 0,650 > 0,05. (PER) = 0,881 > 0,05. The test result with F-test found that all selected financial ratios have a significant influence on stock returns.
