Abstract

The aims of this study is to evaluate the effects of financial performances on profitability. The evaluation of financial performance is measured by Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Investing Policy Ratio (IPR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Adversely Classified Assets (ACA), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) and Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR) to Return On Equity (ROE), simultaneously and partially. Conventional Regional Development Banks as a subject of this study with a study period of quarter I, 2015 to quarter IV, 2020. This study used purposive sampling. Conventional Regional Development Banks of Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat and Sumatera Selatan Bangka Belitung as the samples of this study. The result of this study revealed that LDR, IPR, NPL, ACA, OER, IRR and FBIR have a significant effect on ROE simultaneously. The result of the partial test of LDR and IPR have a negative coefficient and insignificant on ROE. NPL has a insignificant negative effects on ROE. ACA and OER Income have positive coefficient and insignificant on ROE. IRR and FBIR have a significant positive effect on ROE.
