Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage and Sales Growth on the Dividend Policy of Food and Beverages industrial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Dividend Policy Indicators are measured using the dividend payout ratio (DPR). The data analysis method used is the Multiple Linear Regression test with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling technique and obtained 13 companies from a population of 32 companies in the Food and Beverages sector and obtained 91 observations for the 2014-2020 period. The results of data analysis conclude that the variables of Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage and Sales Growth have a simultaneous effect on Dividend Policy in Food and Beverages industrial companies listed on the IDX. Profitability and Leverage partially have a significant positive effect on Dividend Policy, while Liquidity and Sales Growth have a negative but not significant effect on Dividend Policy.
